Folded leaflets can be delivered in a variety of formats, including glued or with the use of a c-clip. The c-clip is a small label that is used to keep a folded leaflet closed, and it can also incorporate two separate folded leaflets, making them a twinsert or piggybacked. This is particularly useful when there is a lot of information to be included, as it allows for more space without adding bulk.
The leaflet may use a single c-clip in the center or two c-clips towards each end. The use of two c-clips allows for the leaflet to be easily opened from either end, making it more convenient for the user. Additionally, c-clips can be designed with perforations to prevent any tearing that might occur from removing the c-clip.
C-clips also have the added benefit of being able to print data matrix and serialization information, which is particularly important in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Serialization allows for the tracking and tracing of products, making it easier to detect and prevent counterfeiting.
