Straight Tucks (also called the Straight Tuck End or STE) are suitable for products requiring a primary display panel with a large window. With the fold/tuck closures in the back, the raw edges at both ends of the front display panel are concealed. Straight Tucks eliminate any interference between the window film material and the tuck, which might occur if a reverse tuck style were to be used. Sealed end cartons are cartons that do not have tuck flaps on the ends but rather are sealed by the filler during packaging, usually with hot melt glue. Many retailers require sealed end cartons for certain products to prevent tampering or pilfering in store. Sealed ends are most often used in automatic or semi-automatic lines but can be hand assembled and glued in small quantities.
