8 Panel Expanded Content Labels (ECL) has 8 folded panels that open up and can be resealed back into their original position after the opening. The 8 folded panels provide significantly more real estate for information than a conventional label. The 8 Panel ECL provides the flexibility of having a full graphic on the cover while providing multiple panels underneath. The front label space allows the label to display captivating graphics or brilliant designs and the pertinent information that needs to be on the front. The ability to have multiple panels allows for the information to be placed beneath the front of the label. There are many configurations on constructing the number of pages, size, and materials for this ECL, making it highly suitable as a replacement for the traditional information insert. By eliminating the need for an insert, ECLs are a cost-saving solution.Â

The 8 folded panel ECL reduces administration, stock, improves production line speed, and ensures high security. Extended Content Labels are the perfect label solution for displaying high quantities of patient information on healthcare packaging. The 8 panel ECL is suitable for several packaging types that require multi-language and extensive regulatory information. The panels contain all the regulatory information and any requirements necessary for the medication. Additionally, ECLs can offer promotions, coupons, and other forms of communication with the patient by printing them on the panels or utilizing smart technologies such as serialization, NFC, RFID, and more.Â

- Removable ECL leaflets allow the booklet to detach information without damaging the rest of the package.
- Resealable ECL Leaflets allow the label to be opened and closed for repeated use. The leaflet label also has a resealable closure available in many different versions. It can be covered with a dirt repellent and attractive looking lamination.

Full Base Label -Expanded Content Labels
Full Base Labels are designed for use on flat surfaces including cartons, kits and cards. The base spans the entire length of the ECL from edge to edge. Bases can be constructed from a large array materials and is offered Clear, White, Black, Opaque or metalized substrates.

Partial Base Label -Expanded Content Labels
Partial Base Labels are designed for use with cylindrical clinical containers such as bottles, vials, canisters and syringes. Partial Bases are a small section of base that adheres to the container and allows the booklet to wrap around the curved surface, generally the tab section is used to adhere to the other side of the container, securing the booklet. Bases can be constructed from a large array materials and is offered Clear, White, Black, Opaque or metalized substrates.

Segmented Label Base Construction -Expanded Content Labels
Segmented label base constructions are used when it is necessary to wrap a booklet label around one or more edges of a box or carton. As illustrated below it uses “2 base section” so the label is able to bend and adhere correctly around corners or tight radiuses. It is important to have all the packaging component dimensions when designing this type of label.
